Our furniture refinishing page shows a bunch of after photos so we decided to create this page that showcases what the pieces looked like before they were refinished. Some were simply painted and some had a complete overhaul to create a one of a kind, custom piece.
From Hitchcock to MCM...
This old dresser got a HUGE glow up for a nursery. We updated the base for straighter lines, added wood feet and gave it a peachy makeover. The boho furniture transfer and hardware update sealed the deal.
We even put the wallpaper on the drawer interiors for a pop of fun!

A Whole New Vibe...
Our clients had this Stickley Cherry bedroom set for over 20 years and it was ready for a new look. We stripped these and refinished in a lighter wood tone by using some paint wash and stain combinations!
Dining Chair Makeover
This client recently had their kitchen renovated and the old finish on their chairs wasn't working... but the chairs are great. So we gave it a modern update to better complement their new space!
Antique Cabinet Makeover
Our client purchased this piece at an estate sale and held onto it for 15 years! This makeover was truly STUNNING and now the piece lives upstairs in her bedroom.
Living Room Refresh
This clients large bookcase units were so snug to the ceiling, so we made a house call. And what an amazing upgrade! The space is brighter and lighter and ready for hosting friends.
Art Deco High Gloss Desk
Our client had her mom's green desk spruced up with a high gloss shade of white, gold on the original hardware and we couldn't be more pleased with it's new look!
Save the Teak
This teak table lived outside for years but our client wanted to save it and move it inside. Stripped and sealed to become the interior dining table. The rich color is just gorgeous!
Master Bathroom Refresh
This master bathroom is what dreams are made of! We painted the walls a warm gray, instead of that colder blue tone. And the cream color on the vanity had to go and Decorators White was the perfect choice. With lots of caulk on the ceiling trim gaps from settling!
One of a Kind
Our client purchased this dresser from us because she knew it had good bones. The finish, needed love. Together we designed this look by incorporating a stained top, with a painted body paired with grasscloth style wallpaper on the drawer faces and dresser sides.
Upcycled Dining Chairs
This client totally had a vision and wow - amazing. These old chairs have a totally different feel with their new black paint and that fabric is so good!
Oak Dining Set Revamp
These clients have had their dining table set for 30+ years and we were honored to give it a new life! Black paint and a light, warm stain... for the perfect pair.
Antique Cabinet Makeover
Our client found this piece on FB Marketplace and we were out to save its life!

A Makeover for Mom
This client contacted us to give his moms corner cabinet a custom makeover! Now it's totally one of a kind. The wallpaper accent is my favorite and complements the sage green paint so well!
Goodbye Orange Wood
Our client wanted to ditch the warm orange wood tone on this piece so something lighter. Stripped and sanded with some finishing magic and we did it! Also added pretty drawer liners for a pop of fun inside.
Goodbye Orange Wood Tones
Our clients father in law handcrafted these two pieces many years ago. So we stripped them with a paint wash stain to achieve a wood grain finish, without the warmth.
Total Kitchen Transformation
This transformation was so drastic - the most drastic so far! From all black everything, to a soft white with Hale Navy on the kitchen island.
Fiery Faux Finish
This cedar chest required some repairs to the detail and broken finials. Then we painted it a bright orange, and finished it with a dark wax to add some age and depth. Such a great antiqued look.
Table Revival
We salvaged this dining room table and saved it from the dump! After removing the old flaking paint and the original stain, we revealed this lovely blonde oak, and paired it with a lightly distressed white base.
Restored Pine Hutch
Our client purchased this old pine hutch for a steal but it had lots of stains and just looked tired. We stripped it and stained it to liven up the pine tones, then sealed it up!
Oak Table Top Restoration
Sometimes you want a full makeover, but sometimes you just want to save what you have... we saved this clients table, which they've owned for 30+ years. Stripped, cleaned, sanded, stained and sealed and ready for another 30+ years!
Two-Toned Oak Buffet
The detail on this antique solid oak buffet is simply stunning!
We stripped the top and drawers, then sealed natural. The rest of the piece is painted in a gray-based medium blue.

Antique Bar Makeover
These clients are converting a space of theirs into a speakeasy style hang out... and this antique bar is going to be the center of the fun! We refinished the elbow rest with some stain and high, high, hiiigh gloss varnish. The base is finished in a satin jet black.
The Perfect Shade of Teal
Mediterranean Teal is a perfect shade to add some color while not overwhelming a space. And the update to glass knobs really dressed this beauty up!
Antique Secretary Update
We custom refinished this old secretary for two of our favorite clients! We removed the decorative top to modernize it just a little... and painted in a lovely muted navy blue.
