Our furniture refinishing page shows a bunch of after photos so we decided to create this page that showcases what the pieces looked like before they were refinished. Some were simply painted and some had a complete overhaul to create a one of a kind, custom piece.
From Hitchcock to MCM...
This old dresser got a HUGE glow up for a nursery. We updated the base for straighter lines, added wood feet and gave it a peachy makeover. The boho furniture transfer and hardware update sealed the deal.

Dining Chair Makeover
This client recently had their kitchen renovated and the old finish on their chairs wasn't working... but the chairs are great. So we gave it a modern update to better complement their new space!
Antique Cabinet Makeover
Our client purchased this piece at an estate sale and held onto it for 15 years! This makeover was truly STUNNING and now the piece lives upstairs in her bedroom.
Table Revival
We salvaged this dining room table and saved it from the dump! After removing the old flaking paint and the original stain, we revealed this lovely blonde oak, and paired it with a lightly distressed white base.
One of a Kind
Our client purchased this dresser from us because she knew it had good bones. The finish, needed love. Together we designed this look by incorporating a stained top, with a painted body paired with grasscloth style wallpaper on the drawer faces and dresser sides.
A Makeover for Mom
This client contacted us to give his moms corner cabinet a custom makeover! Now it's totally one of a kind. The wallpaper accent is my favorite and complements the sage green paint so well!
Total Kitchen Transformation
This transformation was so drastic - the most drastic so far! From all black everything, to a soft white with Hale Navy on the kitchen island.
Restored Pine Hutch
Our client purchased this old pine hutch for a steal but it had lots of stains and just looked tired. We stripped it and stained it to liven up the pine tones, then sealed it up!
Antique Bar Makeover
These clients are converting a space of theirs into a speakeasy style hang out... and this antique bar is going to be the center of the fun! We refinished the elbow rest with some stain and high, high, hiiigh gloss varnish. The base is finished in a satin jet black.
Upcycled Dining Chairs
This client totally had a vision and wow - amazing. These old chairs have a totally different feel with their new black paint and that fabric is so good!
The Perfect Shade of Teal
Mediterranean Teal is a perfect shade to add some color while not overwhelming a space. And the update to glass knobs really dressed this beauty up!

We custom refinished this old secretary for two of our favorite clients! We removed the decorative top to modernize it just a little... and painted in a lovely muted navy blue.

This master bathroom is what dreams are made of! We painted the walls a warm gray, instead of that colder blue tone. And the cream color on the vanity had to go and Decorators White was the perfect choice. With lots of caulk on the ceiling trim gaps from settling!

We took this clients outdated MCM dresser and refinished it with faux grasscloth wallpaper! Updated the drawer pulls to brushed gold loops to mimic a dresser she loved online!

This clients nightstands had previously been an old vanity. We stripped them and did some patch repairs... then restored the drawers and tops, with the painted green accents.
Goodbye Red Wood
We get it - the color of old furniture just doesn't go with everyones decor. So we updated these with a brown stain on top and a lightly distressed white base.

We modernize this solid maple dresser for our client so that it would work with the aesthetic in her home. The possibilities are endless!
Repurposed Furniture
The base of this hutch got a new life and a new purpose. We removed the top and installed a butcher block for a one of a kind kitchen prep station. The base is painted in a lovely navy blue with the hardware update to antiqued brass knobs.
