Bringing it all back from the past...
Deconstruction / Salvage
We are your local pre-demolition salvage experts. From barns, old homes, sheds and piles of lumber... we skillfully deconstruct derelict buildings to salvage their rich architectural history. Unlike landfills, the practice of reclaiming, repurposing and reusing these old building materials is ecologically sustainable and environemntally sound. And it allows pieces of history to live on and show off all it's beauty!
Custom Built Furniture
The reclaimed materials that we salvage from these deconstrution projects are then stored in our salvage yard. They are available "as is" for the DIY-er.
Or we use these materials to design and craft your custom furniture. No project too big or small. From farm tables and bathroom vanities, to headboards or picture frames, serving trays, floating shelves, counter tops, bars, side tables, benches... you get the point. All of our projects are built by us, on site in our Peconic wood shop.
Custom Furniture Refinishing
Salvaging pieces of history is our thing. Even vintage/antique furniture. We refinish many of the pieces for our retail space, but we also do custom refinishing on client's furniture. You get to pick the color, the finish, the accents and so on. We can update the hardware or keep it original. There are so many options! For custom refinishing inquiries on your pieces or ours, please contact Heather.
Shop the Retail Space
Our retail space is full of vintage home decor, furniture, glassware, our handmade soy candles, architectural salvage... And repurposed eclectic creations by local artist Dave Betts! Be sure to check out the hardware nook for door knobs, funriture handles, vintage tools and more!
We're constantly adding fresh new finds and keeping the space filled with goodies! Open Thursday thru Monday - check the Fresh Finds / Instagram / Facebook page for schedule updates.
Clean Outs + Buying
North Fork Salvage Yard
Our salvage yard is packed full with locally reclaimed materials and architectural salvage. Old doors and windows, lumber, mantles, fireplace surrounds. Unfinished furniture. Old porcelain sinks. And so much more. Available "as is" or we'll clean it up and/or incorporate into a custom build.
Whether you're moving, renovating or just looking to make some more space in your home, we do offer clean outs and we do buy vintage furniture and items. If interested in this service, please email us photos of what you're looking to get rid of (a general idea is good enough) and we can arrange a day to meet!
